Did you ever wish you could see the trail before you decided to hike it?
Now you can with a Rimsurfer photo review of over 60 Arizona regional hiking trails each with it's own photo gallery. My goal is to be Arizona's top regional hiking trails photo gallery review and adventure resource for the Prescott National Forest, Tonto National Forest and surrounding Central and Northern outdoor areas of Yavapai and Gila County.
Currently I have taken more than 20,000 scenic photos for your trail review enjoyment. Along with the continuous photo record of the trail I also provide you with important trail facts, surface mix, trail type, hiking and safety tips.
It's fun to surf the rim!
This weeks "new trails" posted!
I am working my way through the Lynx Lake Trail system this month. I plan on even doing the little connector trails as this area is so popular and the pics may be of value to those traveling into the area who want to plan out their day and locations better. So be sure to check out . . .
Lynx Lake Recreational Area
• Lakeside Trail 311
• Gold Pan Trail 444 **
• Lynx Creek Trail 445 **
Here is how to get started photo surfing the trails . . .
1) Click any trail link in the right or left hand hand menu bars and that trail page and gallery will open in this center area.
2) When that page loads simply click on the arrow below the photo gallery to view the next picture in that trail series. Once within the gallery you can also "surf" forward or backwards through that photo gallery!
I have also included some basic information on:
what to bring on a day hike
hiking trail tips and guidelines
alternative hike suggestions
and safety tips
* The "grayed out" trails will be scheduled to hike in 2007. I will be updating hiker review comments, trail maps and other links on a continual basis until completed . . . so please come back and visit Rimsurfer often!
Tourists, travelers, and web surfers from around the world . . .
Rimsurfer is also designed as a tourist friendly website community too. The region I live and work in is one of the natural wonders of the world. The Central, Northern and Mogollon Rim areas of Arizona are known for their exotic and beautiful high desert landscapes and natural resources.
We also enjoy one of the worlds largest standing Ponderosa Pine Forests and the area is loaded with great opportunities for hiking, sight seeing, tours, recreation, national, state and city parks, day trips, camping, boating, fishing, horse back riding, atv, biking, outdoor acitivities of all kinds and much much more.
I sincerely hope you enjoy your visit and please always feel free to let me know your feedback about this site.
