My Trail Review:

I found the Trail Head and trail marker for Trail 373 just across from the Prescott Pines Mobile Park.  There is enough room for a couple vehicles to pull off Hwy 89 and park by the small trail entrance area. The trail starts out to the east  as it passes on the north side of the White Spar Campground. You will see campground access roads, picnic tables, out buildings and fire pits on your right.

This is an enjoyable short connector trail wandering through the Ponderoza Pines along shallow ravines as it heads easterly into the forest and trail system of the White Spar Campground area that also connects you up with trails that can take you all the way over to the Goldwater Lake area and it's trail system. In fact the Apple Blossum Trail TR 373 is best used as part of a loop either into or out of this areas interconnected trails. You will have a lot of connecting trail choices along the way.

Today we took it up past the housing section on the north fence line to where it connects with
Hidden Valley Trail TR 374, taking TR 374 up to Goldwater Lake Trail TR 396  then back west to TR 372 which brought us back to TR 373 and then back to the trail head parking area.

This trail system is close to the city and the camp ground and the lake so it is well used and you may see other groups, hikers and mountain bikers along the way - we did today.

Enjoy the Hike!
