My Trail Review:
April 2007
You start out at the Trail Head on Willow Trail TR 347 with a country style stroll through the back of the subdivison with fences and woodsy tree areas then on through the park horse gate and up into the trail. Turn right at the intersection of TR 341 and up the side of the grassy hill.
I found this short little connector trail to be scenic and interesting. It does travel along side of the housing and power lines occasionally but the landscape is unique and enjoyable. You climb up the hill to higher elevations through Pinon pine, cactus and some juniper to some interesting views to the south east of the Prescott city and north of Williamson Valley areas.
You connect back into TR 347 where you can continue on to other trails either north or south through the park turning this into a whole day and more advanced hiking adventure or just loop back to the Katahn Trail Head and make this an acceptable couple hour day hike.
Enjoy the Hike!
