My Trail Review:

Summer 2006
I have broken down the Rim Lakes Vista Trail TR 622 which interconnects several Rim Vista trails into 2 sections for ease of viewing. If you are visiting this area you should not miss planning a day trip up to this series of Vista trails. You can drive up and park by any of the main vista views without having to hike into them so everyone can enjoy this moment of the best of Arizona.

The trail is mostly flat following the top of the rim. It is often paved with either blacktop or a hard stone trail mix and so is easy to walk. Bikes travel through on most sections and there are no guard rails to speak of so keep and eye out for the kids and pets.

There are plenty of spots you can find a bench to sit down on and just enjoy the view. Be sure to bring along a picnic lunch as you could easily end up spending the day here.

I find this very special Rim Country vista area really gets me in touch with the simple yet awesome beauty of this planet we all live on together. Got to see it to feel it and believe it.

Enjoy the Rim!
