Silver is a strong, quiet and smart sheltie. He is not the "yappy" type either. He is a little larger than normal for the breed and has a personality very similiar to the large full size collies that I have had the honor of their companionship.
Silver prefers a slower and more gracious meeting of new friends on the trail vs aggressive, pushing right in but gets along great with other dogs. He prefers to be on the leash and stay on the trail. He is curious but smart about staying out of trouble and harms way. He is well mannered and well behaved around people, other dogs, critters of all kinds, and even rowdy mis-behaving horses.
His favorite trail food: an apple!
